Spain v England
After a flurry of World Cup qualification fixtures,
Sven-Goran Eriksson 's men travel to Madrid for a friendly international at Real's 75,000-capacity Santiago Bernabeu stadium (kick-off 8.45).
It's a good opportunity for fringe players in the squad to make their mark before the World Cup qualifiers resume next year, while striker Michael Owen , having recently hit a rich vein of form, will feel at home playing on his club ground.
England's last match in the Bernabeu was a 4-2 victory in 1987. Their most recent encounter with Spain - Eriksson's first game in charge-ended in a 3-0 win at Villa Park in 2001, with goals from Nick Barmby , Emile Heskey and Ugo Ehiogu.
Presented by Gary Lineker , with commentary coming from John Motson and Mark Lawrenson.
