Operation Raleigh

on BBC Two England

The Chance
Tonight's film, the third in a series of six, is made by a team from the University of Bristol.
Three young people from 'the inner-city' and on the dole find themselves competing with 20 others in a series of exhausting tests organised by an Operation Raleigh selection team; the judges are looking for courage, compatability and a sense of humour - especially when things get tough.
If they pass, they'll get the chance to fly half-way round the world to join an expedition in Australia ... Filmed by KEVIN MCMAHON and CLAIRE ODGERS
Series producer BELINDA ALLEN
