John Leslie reports from Chester as the RAC Rally returns there at the end of day two. This year, Sunday's spectator stages have provided a partial respite for the car crews, who are faced with a total of 250 miles of driving and the prospect of the slightest misjudgement leaving the car in a ditch or among the trees.
Tony Mason follows the progress of competitors around the country, finding out during the brief service halts how the leaders are faring. Mark James and Bob Constanduros report on the rest of the news in the event where Britain's club drivers rub shoulders with the world's best.
