The Weather in the Streets

on BBC Two England

by ROSAMOND LEHMANN
Screenplay by JULIAN MITCHELL starring Michael York and Lisa Eichhorn with Joanna Lumley and Rosalind Ayres
Faith Brook, Isabel Dean
Several years have passed since Olivia Curtis last saw Rollo Spencer. It was at her first ball. Shy, nervous and overcome by the grandeur of her surroundings she none-the-less never quite forgot her hosts' handsome young son.
Now, ten years later, they meet by chance on a train leaving London; It is a chance encounter destined to have incalculable results.
