A French lawyer visiting America for a reunion with his daughter discovers she is a successful psychoanalyst, nearly 30 - and still a spinster. To any French father this is an unthinkable situation, so he finds a uniquely qualified man to help his daughter discover herself as a woman.
Charles Boyer and Leslie Caron give a strong French accent to this comedy film with Rock Hudson as the American who seems to be able to beat most Frenchmen at their own national sport.
