The high spots of this evening's action in the Olympic Stadium in Athens are at 7.35 with the women's 100m final followed at 7.50 by the men's 100m when the title of the world's fastest man will be decided. Olympic champion and world record holder Donovan Bailey of Canada defends his world title and is again one of the favourites, but his opposition is likely to include Frankie Fredericks and Ato Boldon, the men he beat into the minor medal positions at the Olympics. Meanwhile Denise Lewis goes in the 200m event of the heptathlon.
