The Hungarian composer Sandor Veress lives in Berne, where he is a professor at the Conservatoire. Hommage Paul Klee owes its origin to « visit he paid to some friends in Basle who have a remarkable collection of works by the Swiss painter.
Kurt Koppel , who studied at the Royal
Academy of Music, has written a piano concerto and a symphony for strings, both of winch have been broadcast. His Violin Concerto (1948) it in rhree movements.
