6: Big Game Safari (1932)
'This is one of the first photographic big game safaris ever shot in Africa, In it, the pioneer. husband and wife camera team' of Martin and Olsa Johnson take early sound recording gear with them to record, as well as film, the wealth of wildlife Africa then contained: herds of zebra, lion and rhino in plenty, lakes covered by acres of flamingoes, rivers alive with crocodiles.
The Johnsons also filmed the pygmies of the Ituri Forest and the gorillas of the Alembongo mountains, to complete the first-ever sound movie made entirely in Africa.'
