For Church and King: The Birmingham Riots of 1791

On 14 June 1791 a group of peaceful citizens of Birmingham intended to celebrate the second anniversary of the French Revolution. This is the story of how that peaceful dinner turned into a riot which made the Home Secretary send in the army.
