The film of the famous adventure book by Johann David Wyss. The story takes place in the early, part of the nineteenth century. Mr. Robinson, a Swiss watch-maker, decides to take his family out of England to the Colonies so that his sons can become tough men Instead of fops or book-worms. The ship is wrecked, the crew is lost and the Robinson family is cast up on an uninhabited island where they spend two years before being rescued.
