A series of six programmes
On ponies as rugged as their mountain homeland, two men and two girls trek through a little-known Scottish wilderness. Knoydart peninsula is a beautiful, roadless escape for the seeker of solitude.
On their journey the riders take time off and use their own legs to climb Ladhar Bheinn, the highest peak in the area, where Scotland's June has failed to melt the last of winter's snow. In another scene, the chill is shared by riders and' ponies in a breathless swim across the tidal narrows of Loch Hourn.
