Gloucestershire's dominance in this competition over the last decade will be severely challenged by BILL BEAUMONT and his team which contains eight other internationals, although missing Tony Bond who has a broken leg. When the teams last met in 1977 Lancashire were the winners in the semi-final, and then went on to win the final.
MIKE RAFTER will be leading a traditionally uncompromising Gloucestershire pack, and with PETER BUTLER available to cash in on any penalty decisions the final promises to be a close-fought affair.
