Dr. R.D. Lawrence, Physician-in-Charge of the Diabetic Department of King's College Hospital, explains the course, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and shows how insulin the drug which enables diabetics to lead normal lives is made.

The programme includes a film recording made last week on a brief visit to England by Professor Charles Best C.B.E., who, with Sir Frederick Banting, discovered insulin.
