Updating the lives of individuals first seen in the series Doctors to Be.

The career of would-be surgeon Fay Probst has hit a major setback: the single mother of four children has failed her surgical exams and is now working as a junior doctor in casualty. Radiologist Nick Hollings is less than three years away from becoming a consultant, but, at the age of 31, he resents still having to sit exams.
