The Last Chance Wagon Train
A special report, written and narrated by DESMOND WILCOX
In Arizona, the heart of the American Wild West, 80 tough young delinquents were offered the choice of staying behind bars or joining a 1,500-mile trek by wagon train to Denver, Colorado.
They are put through an experience as tough as they themselves pretend to be.
The film is a frank and often disturbing account of a unique experiment in dealing with young criminals, particularly relevant when the short, sharp shock treatment for young offenders is now being introduced in this country by our own government.
