Go Birding

on BBC Two England

The last in a series of films which explore bird-watching with Tony Soper. 6: Management for Birds
St Cuthbert started it all on the Farne Islands - now management for birds is vital to their survival. Counting, ringing and feeding all contribute to bird conservation, but more important is the care of the places in which birds live.
Provide the right conditions and the birds will get on with it. Each species needs the correct mix of heath or marsh, woodland or water. Producers GEORGE INGER and ROBIN PRYTHERCH BBC Bristol
