Tonight from BBC Midlands:
Copse and Maggots-a celebration of 30 years of Silverstone.
Copse Corner and Maggots Curve are two of the landmarks on the Silverstone motor racing circuit in Northamptonshire. In the first post-war British Grand Prix in 1948, the lap record was 77.73 mph. Since then this former airfield has become renowned as the fastest Grand Prix circuit in the world with a lap record of over 130 mph. World champion Marto Andretti is one of the top racing drivers who talk about Silverstone in this film which follows the preparations for the 30th Daily Express International Trophy for Formula One cars held in 1978.
