Galapagos

on BBC Two England

A film by Heinz Sielmann.
The Galapagos are a group of volcanic islands lying in mid-Pacific, a thousand miles west of Ecuador. The strange animals which live there are found nowhere else on earth, and they gave Charles Darwin the first inkling of the workings of evolution 130 years ago.
