The Black Brigand: 4: An Ass... in Girl's Clothing

Based on a story by Alexandre Dumas.
Fernando, the Black Brigand, with Janella, has escaped the soldiers once, only to fall into danger again. King Karl, warned by his Alchemist, has demanded the body of the Black Brigand "-dead or alive-" even while Don Rogano, newly appointed Chief Justice, asks that a pardon be granted to Fernando. The soldiers have set light to the whole countryside where Fernando and Janella are resting, and the blaze, fanned by the wind is driving them back to a sheer cliff face from which there is no escape...
