Today in Wiltshire a team of miners begin to drive a 250-foot tunnel on the first stage of a two-year excavation to discover the origination and purpose of the biggest prehistoric man-made earthwork in Europe.
This film covers the background and research in the weeks leading up to the start of the operation.
