The Booze Runners

on BBC Two England

Once they manned the green channel at Heathrow. Now customs officers chase bootleggers along motorways, into high street shops and illegal drinking clubs across the south east. It's part of a war on the "booze runners", people who make money by selling alcohol bought at low duty in Europe. Cameras follow a team of customs men and women on surveillance duty and during arrests and confiscations as they hunt down the bootleg booze.
