Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Writer Philip Hoare , who was born in the Southampton suburb of Sholing, revisits the county where he spent his formative years. Hisjourney begins in the docks area of Southampton, where buildings such as South Western House-reconstructed forthe feature film Titanic -ensurethe dockside retains the nautical atmosphere of a bygone era.
Other stopping-off points include the Royal Victoria
