Canterbury's Divisions
The Church of England has traditionally been broad and its various wings and movements have ensured that questions of belief and doctrine, of relations with the state and with other churches have been hard fought. But the issues which have come to the fore in recent years have sharpened the divisions within the Church and presented her with choices which will fundamentally affect her character and direction.
