Middlesex, S.E. Division Champions v. Durham, Northern Division Champions

Durham, joint holders of the title with Surrey following the marathon climax to last season's championship, today journey south to face the considerable talents of Middlesex, who this season have reasserted their dominance of the S.E. Division, a title they relinquished to Surrey last year only after a play-off.
