The Rare Ones: 5: Condor Country

on BBC Television

A world study of wildlife in danger and of the wild places where the rare ones live.
A film series by Eugen Schuhmacher.
Commentary by Peter Scott.

Patagonia is the southernmost part of South America. On the open pampas there are guanacos, armadillos, and the rare grisons; off the coast live colonies of the southern sea-lion; and high up in the Andes there is one of the largest birds in the world, a spectacular flyer, the Andean condor.
