with the Royal Opera

The Royal Opera is making an historic first visit to the Far East. It is the largest cultural export ever undertaken by this country and the Company has been a huge success in South Korea and Japan. For their opening night in Tokyo last month the Royal Opera presented their renowned production of Tosco. The performance was given in the presence of HRH The Duke of Kent, accompanied by the Emperor's sister-in-law, HIH Princess Chichibu.
