Splash and Cocoon director Ron Howard, who also starred in the cult American television series Happy Days, joins producer George Lucas to bring this epic fantasy to life. Heading the cast are Val Kilmer, who starred in The Doors, and Joanne Whalley (now Joanne Whalley-Kilmer), who is currently starring in Shattered and recently appeared with her husband Val in the film Kill Me Again.
