An avid reader of lurid mystery novels, debutante Nicki witnesses a murder from the window of a train but no one will believe her.
With the help of crime-writer Wayne Morgan , she sets out to solve the mystery.
Deanna Durbin takes time out from sleuthing to sing ' Night and day ' and ' Silent night' in this engaging mystery farce.
