Script by Jonquil Antony
Last week the Dales held the Brimscombe House ' Bring and Buy Sale ' at Virginia Lodge. It was a great success but for the disappearance of a yellow Wedgwood box which Mrs. Mountford had given. Mrs. Freeman was concerned because she felt Mrs. Briggs might have taken it. Later in the week, Mr. Curtis told Mrs. Freeman that Mrs. Briggs wished to speak to her, as she had something on her mind that was worrying her. Miss Marchbanks was worried too. She told Mrs. Freeman she had seen Mrs. Mountford's nephew, Bill Donaldson , taking money from Mrs. Mountford's handbag.
Mrs. Freeman fell and hurt her leg while pursuing Captain. Miss Pink stayed on at Virginia Lodge to help and was introduced to Bill Donaldson. Later she told Bob she had met him before but thought his name was Walker.
