Motherland - a Genetic Journey

on BBC Two England

Aoneoff documentary charting the journeys of three people who have used genetics to find their lost African roots. In a pioneering study designed for the BBC, more than black Britons of Caribbean origin became the first people in the world to have their DNA investigated to determine their geographical family origins. Armed with this precise scientific knowledge, three group members return to the lands of their ancestors to reclaim their individual heritage.
