For over a hundred years the Hibbert Trust has invited distinguished theologians to deliver the annual Hibbert
Lecture. This year the Bishop of Durham, The Rt Rev David Jenkins , has been invited to speak on The God of Freedom and the Freedom of God.
Dr Jenkins explores the vexed topic of liberation theology and examines its application within Great Britain.
