Journalist Jim Lord, returning to his native Liverpool to interview a 'pop' poet, finds himself interviewed instead. 'You wander in here, high enough to give yourself the necessary amount of courage to project all the unpleasant aspects of your own failures and frustrations on to me and rudely at that, and I'm supposed to react in some way that'll do your work for you, give you your "story".'
