Journeys to the Bottom of the Sea

on BBC Two England

The Monitor's Final Mission. Eighty metres down in a stretch of water known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic lies the Monitor, a ship commissioned by Abraham Lincoln to fight in the American Civil War. A valuable piece of history, the vessel is now the focus of a massive rescue mission involving elite navy divers.
