This week he advises on: Planting leeks; staking dahlias; sowing the seed of winter-flowering pansies; the final 'stopping' of indoor flowering chrysanthemums; and the feeding of camellias.
Sidney Pearce, an assistant Curator of the Royal Botanic Gardens, comes to the studio with some interesting shrubs from Kew, and demonstrates their propagation with special reference to air layering.
