The Life of the Buddha

Around 2,500 years ago, a young prince left a life of luxury and set out on a journey through India towards spiritual enlightenment. The philosophy he devised is now followed by over 400 million people. Computer-generated images, expert testimony and the latest archaeological finds combine to dramatise the Buddha's life, while modern Buddhists explain key elements in their search for enlightenment.
