The Monarflex World Professional Billiard Championship 1987 Semi-finals from the Albert Hall, Bolton There are now only four players left from the original 20 as the championship reaches the semi-final stage. The top seeds are Australian
ROBBIE FOLDVARI , the current World Champion; NORMAN DAGLEY , the 1986 runner-up and current UK Champion; RAY EDMONDS and MARK WILDMAN , who have both won the world title. FRED DAVIS , the 73-year-old veteran of the game, will also be hoping to be a semi-finalist. Fred is only the second player to achieve the feat of winning both the World Professional billiards and snooker titles.
