First Sight

on BBC Two England

From Cradle to Rave
The drug ecstasy is an integral part of today's youth culture yet few people understand the dangers. Last summer two young men died after taking the drug; others report long-term psychological damage. Judith Burns talks to those affected and reports on demands that nighclubs provide safety measures to protect ravers from the worst effects of ecstasy.
A phone-in discussion of the issues raised follows immediately on BBC Radios Berkshire, Kent, Oxford and GLR. If you would like to take part, call [number removed] after the programme. Producer Joe Bullman ; Editor Alison Rooper
