Animal Magic: The World of Animals

on BBC One London

A weekly series.
Introduced by Johnny Morris with Keith Shackleton.

In the wild, in the zoo, at home: a magazine of stories about animals constantly illustrating their own kind of magic.
from the South and West

It's nature's food, and it's free! It's in great demand by cows, deer, zebras, buffaloes, and gnus, but Keeper Johnny Morris found that grass was a particularly delightful tit-bit for, of all things, the hippo.
Keith Shackleton found something out of the ordinary too - the beautiful Mandarin duck, which he sketched as it swam on a lake near Chippenham.
