Life ...in the animal world
Why do we behave as we do? What are the roots of abnormal behaviour? Every action an animal performs stems from two sources: what the performer was born with, and what he has learned. How important these inborn influences are and how they are related to learned behaviour has been the subject of considerable research.
Some examples are described and discussed by:

Dr. Eibl-Eibesfeldt, Max-Planck Institute for Behaviour, Seewiesen, Germany
Professor Harry F. Harlow, University of Wisconsin
Dr. John Bowlby, Tavistock Institute of Human Relations
