Eye on Research: 4: The Growing Child

on BBC Television

For the past twelve years a group of scientists have been making an immensely detailed study of just how different children grow. They are trying to find the answers to such questions as: Are some children late developers?; Is physical development connected with mental development?; Can you predict a child's eventual height?
Live Outside Broadcast cameras visit scientists of the Institute of Child Health of London University to see how this work is done.
