In recognition of the Prime Minister's incomparable service to the nation, members of both Houses of Parliament meet in Westminster Hall on the occasion of his eightieth birthday.
The Prime Minister's portrait, painted by Graham Sutherland, is presented by the Rt. Hon. C.R. Attlee, O.M., C.H., M.P., and a commemorative book, containing the signatures of all members of the House of Commons, is presented by the Rt. Hon. D.R. Grenfell, C.B.E., M.P.
