This nostalgic musical (being shown tonight in its full original version) of James Hilton 's famous novel is set in the south of England, before the war. Arthur Chip ping is a shy, dedicated school-master who is unable to overcome the hostility of his pupils until he meets and marries Kathenne, a beautiful and warm-hearted musical comedy actress.
