London Marathon

Live coverage of the 22nd Flora Marathon run through the streets of the capital on a winding 26-mile journey from Greenwich to the Mall.
This year, both double Olympic gold medallist Haile Gebrselassie and British distance runner Paula Radcliffe will be making their marathon debuts. In the women's elite race Radcliffe will face defending champion Derartu Tulu and two-time London winner Joyce Chepchumba. In the men's elite Gebrselassie will have to overcome last year's winner Abdelkader El Mouaziz , world-record holder Khalid Khannouchi and three-time London champion Antonio Pinto. In the women's wheelchair race Paralympic gold medallist Tanni Grey-Thompson hopes to win the event for the sixth time.
As with every year, the field of competitors will be complemented by over 30,000 Participants in the "fun" run, many in fancy dress, hoping to raise money for charity
