Woburn Abbey
Lady Victoria Leatham takes time off from restoring her 240-roomed stately home, Burghley House in Lincolnshire, to tour some of the nation's other great treasure houses. This week she visits Woburn Abbey and meets the Marquess and Marchioness of Tavistock. It was the Marquess of Tavistock's father, the Duke of Bedford, who saved Woburn for the nation with commercial enterprises including a safari park, a fun fair and a nudist convention. Showing off some ofWoburn's great furniture and porcelain are experts John Bly and Dr Oliver Impey.
