Out of the Ashes
Second of a three-part series. Clouds of ash from the Masai
Mountain of God drift over the Rift Valley creating the Serengeti plains. Gazelles, zebras, and wildebeest run the gauntlet of wild dogs, cheetahs, and lions forming the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth. And among the millions of wild animals the Masai people graze their cattle. Rain which brings life to the Plains collects in the Rift
Valley to form lakes. Some are shallow, others so deep they become oceans in miniature with sparkling coral reef-like communities.
