At the beginning of the century, the ambition of every American chorus girl was to appear in the lavish follies staged by America's greatest showman. MGM have produced an equally lavish film of three pretty girls on the threshold of Ziegfeld success and, in true Hollywood style, cast three of their most glittering stars as the chorus girls.
