State Visit of the President of France

HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family greet President Giscard d'Estaing on his arrival at Victoria Station at the start of his State Visit.

After inspecting a Guard of Honour of the First Battalion The Scots Guards, the President and Mme Giscard d'Estaing will accompany the Queen on a State Drive to Buckingham Palace, escorted by a Sovereign's Escort of Household Cavalry.
