Live coverage from Atlanta with five finals to be decided in track and field this evening. Events include the pole vault at 11.50pm, where Sergei Bubka will be looking for his second Olympic gold medal, and the final of the 3,000m steeplechase at 2.05am, with world champion Moses Kiptanui and defending Olympic champion Matthew Birir competing for Kenya. Tonight also sees the final of the women's 10,000m, the women's shot and the women's long jump, and the heats of the relays.

Also, news of the men's hockey bronze medal play-off and action from the last boxing semi-finals. Plus, the rest of the day's sporting news and results.
