A regional dish is a whole countryside....
This new series finds out how many distinctive local foods and dishes still exist and how many are just a memory for the older people.
On Severnside some of the regional foods, like elvers, are still found in quantity, but others are disappearing. The local people are finding it hard now to indulge their taste for fat' old spot' pork, strong cheese and rough cider. Introduced by Derek Cooper
