One Pair of Eyes, the celebrated series of highly personal films, ran for eight years, from 1967 to 1974. For this series, one programme from each year has been selected. 1972 - Tom Stoppard Doesn't Know ' Almost everybody I know has firm opinions about almost everything. It's better to have halitosis than to have no opinion. The characteristic position I find myself in is one of cautious agreement with two incompatible points of view.'
